PRAISE
“And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.” (Acts 15:3) What a great joy it is for the soul winner to win lost souls for Jesus! What a great joy the conversion of never-dying souls causes in God’s people! What a great joy there is in Heaven over one sinner that repenteth! We rejoice that our loving Saviour gave us the opportunity to win 13 precious souls to Him! Our 10-year-old daughter Elisabeth made sure of her salvation, which caused great joy for Angela and me.
PRAYER
Many Dominicans confront violent and dangerous situations too regularly; help us to reach as many as possible through your prayers for God’s power on our ministry and soul winning. Please continue to pray for our continued personal safety and good health. Pray also for our people to keep their eyes on Jesus and to be faithful throughout the holiday season.
Please remember Puerto Rico in your prayers, where we served for eight years. Hurricane Maria caused some deaths, flooding, and loss of homes in the Dominican Republic, but nothing like Hurricanes Irma and Maria caused in Puerto Rico.
GRATITUDE
Thank God for His steadfastness and faithfulness! November is a wonderful month to remember all the blessings God has given to us: salvation, family, faithful supporting churches, health and strength to serve Him, praying friends, and you dear reader. We pray that you will have a blessed Thanksgiving and Christmas season.
