Josh and Heather Hedderman: Building FundI wanted to share an incredible opportunity with you as we take the next step as a church in Peru. Over the past year, our church, Hope Baptist Church, has been growing steadily, and we’ve seen God bless in amazing ways. We are winning souls, people are coming to Christ, families are being discipled, and our ministry is expanding beyond what we ever imagined. But with this growth comes a challenge—we desperately need a permanent church home.

Right now, we have two possible paths forward—either of which would provide the space we need for long-term ministry. We’re praying for God’s provision and for the right partners to come alongside us at this key moment.

Option 1: Raising $700,000 in Donations

We are working to raise $700,000 to purchase a good-sized church building that would provide the space we need to grow and serve our community. Our church family in Peru has already given generously, raising over $128,000, and we are trusting God to provide the rest.

I’ve attached a short video (English/Spanish) explaining this need in more detail. Would you consider watching it and praying about supporting this project?

Option 2: A $1.4 Million Property Investment Opportunity

An unexpected opportunity just came up YESTERDAY—a 0.75-acre (3,000m²) lot selling at 40% of market value.

• Market rate: $1,150/m², but this property is available for just $450/m².
• Total cost: $1.35 million USD plus taxes
• The lot is large enough that selling half of it would completely cover the original purchase cost, while still leaving us more than enough space for a church, school, and future ministry expansion.

If someone is looking for a larger investment opportunity, this could be a way to secure a church property now, while allowing us to recoup the cost through a land sale. I’d love to talk with anyone who might be interested in discussing a two-year loan of $1.4 million to make this possible.

We don’t need both options—just one. Either path would allow us to secure a long-term home for our church. Would you pray with us about this and consider sharing this opportunity with anyone who might be able to help?

Thank you for taking the time to read this. More than anything, we ask for your prayers as we seek God’s provision and wisdom. If the Lord leads you to give or connect us with someone who might help, we would be deeply grateful—but above all, your prayers mean the most to us.

In Christ,

Josh, Heather, and Joseph Hedderman
