Thank you for your continued faithfulness in serving where God has placed you! It’s been too long since our last update, and I apologize for that. We arrived back in the U.S. on January 28. God has been wonderful in His provision of the things that we need during our few months here and in keeping us healthy during the height of flu season! On February 19, Juliet Renee was born! She came a little early, and there was the potential for some complications, but Mom and Baby are doing great!
In my last update, I asked for prayer for a trip that we were going to take to preach and teach for a few days to a group of Fulani people. God is working amid this predominantly Muslim group of people. We preached, taught split sessions, and conducted Q&A sessions for 3 days. In total, there were over 300 people who were a part of the meetings. We currently have multiple Fulani men and ladies studying in Bible college, and we are praying that God will use some of them to start churches in their home villages where there are no Gospel-preaching churches. We believe that this trip was also very important in laying a foundation for one of our Fulani graduates who will, Lord willing, be going back to the village to start a church in the next year or so. Thank you for your continued prayers in the ongoing efforts of reaching Fulani with the Gospel!
During our last furlough, we raised $33,000 to help three of our graduates, who were already pastoring, to build church buildings. I’ve written about this before, but two of the buildings are completed, and the third will hopefully be completed very soon. On this furlough, our goal is to raise $25,000 to help build two more church buildings. These two churches are in areas where God has opened some unique doors to reach Muslims with the Gospel! Through a series of opportunities, open doors, and many different people’s efforts over the last few years, there seems to some fruit that remains amidst the Muslims of Nigeria. We believe that these two churches will continue to be a light to this mostly unreached group of people. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. You can give through FBMI either online or by check. Just make a note that it is for the building project.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support of our family! We know that it takes folks like you to send folks like us!
In His service,
Daniel, Erin, Ezekiel, Gianna, and Juliet Lang
