Team Ghana National Pastor Spotlight: Desiring the Salvation of Nieces and NephewsThank you for partnering with Team Ghana and our church-planting efforts. We hope these testimonies are an encouragement to you. Please pray for these men and their churches.

Pastor David Pentsil

“Yaa Serwaah was selling iced kenkey.

[Kenkey is made from corn dough, wrapped in banana leaves, corn husks, or foil, and steamed.] But when I met Yaa, she was resting under a mango tree. After a lengthy talk, she finally believed salvation is only by faith in Jesus Christ and not by works. She came to church on 7 February with her two children. She also came the following Sunday.

“Some good news in our ministry is that I have started a new Bible study and prayer meeting at Aputuogya with Brother Akwesi Boateng’s family. We meet Fridays at 7 p.m. The last time that we met, our total was 7. I hope it will grow to become a church.” – Feyiase, Ashanti Region, Ghana

Pastor Isaac Kwaw

“My wife’s two sisters, Margaret and Ruth, have given birth to a total of 14 children, and these children are going wayward for lack of training. Our prayer has been that the LORD would save them. So my wife and I made it a priority to go there during this past Christmas. We organized a meal and invited these 14 to dinner; 8 of them came. After the dinner, I gathered them and presented the Gospel, and all 8 accepted Christ as their Saviour. They promised to come to church in the New Year. I am trying to visit them from time to time in order to organize them and have Bible studies with them. Please remember these new converts in your prayers. Pray also for the salvation of my wife’s sisters.” – Obuasi, Ashanti Region, Ghana

Pastor Philip Gafatsi

“I met Gideon Yelineku as I was out soul winning. After I offered him a tract, he invited me back to his home. There I witnessed to him, and he accepted Christ as his personal Saviour. Amen.

“About a month ago, one of our church members introduced me to his friend, Samuel Ganogo. That church member and I went to visit Samuel, and I was able to preach the Gospel to him. Now Samuel has become a part of us. He is growing in the Lord and has started going soul winning with us.” – Sokode, Volta Region, Ghana

Pastor Isaac Akwaboah

“When I met Kwadwo, he told me he did not go to church on a regular basis. He was not saved. I took time and explained clearly the Gospel to him, and I believe he got saved. What excites me is that he comes to every service now and has joined our soul-winning team.

“Also, I praise the Lord that our very faithful church member, Madam Gladys Afriyie Nyarko, has now started coming soul winning with us.” – Agric Nwamase, Ashanti Region, Ghana
