“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Galatians 6:9) We are grateful to be your presence in Argentina. We are grateful for your prayers and support of the ministry here. We are grateful that serving the Lord is a never-ending work. This morning I opened a Spanish Bible that I want to start using and found a prayer list from my sending church, dated May 14, 2014. It reminded me of how much we need each other in all areas of life and the ministry. May it be said of us all that we are living Galatians 6:9 faithfully.
One morning out soul winning, I noticed a young boy trying to put a tube in his bicycle tire. As my partner witnessed to the mom, I showed the boy how to put the tube in with the two spoons he was using as screwdrivers. I pray that this image of the church helping him will always stick in his mind. He needs a dad, and he needs Christ. We do what we can when we can to further the cause of our Lord. Well doing for the Lord never ends, as the boy and the church prayer list illustrate.
We’ve been very busy for the Lord, as always. In May I preached at a church that had recently lost its pastor. I helped a fellow missionary receive his container and, by the grace of God, was able to lead 14 precious souls to saving faith in Christ alone. Praise the Lord! We were also able to give 4 Bibles to those who did not have one. We stood and prayed as 4 others received the free gift of eternal life. Many of the converts are faithfully attending the services at Be-tel. What a joy it is to be able to explain the Lord’s Supper to them or show them how to use the index in their Bible to find a book as the pastor preaches.
Your faithful prayers are very important to us. You prayed in the phone service and the internet this month. Our Spanish lessons are going great, so we know you are praying. This is one of our most urgent prayer requests. I long for the day when I can preach and witness without an interpreter so that I can accomplish more for Him. Pray for our health and safety. Pray that in October a new government will be elected that loves the Lord. Pray for more laborers to hear His voice and respond according to His leading.
In Christ,
Simeon and Susie Hudson
