“Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.” (Psalm 103:22)
It is a great joy once again to report on the work being done here in Cambodia. About 10 years ago, we bought a piece of property for our church; we weren’t able to obtain a property title for it because the previous owner did not pay taxes to the government. Unfortunately, we found this out only after we had bought the property. Now the government is urging citizens to obtain a property title, and all they have to do is to pay the property taxes. Because of this, we are currently in need of US$20,000 to get a property title. Please pray for us and this situation.
About three months ago, a 15-year old boy, who came from a village, started coming to church. He would sometimes come to play soccer with the other neighborhood kids on our property. Even though he was not saved at the time, he would show up on Saturdays to go soul winning with our church people.
Then one of our ladies took him aside and started to witness to him. Later that afternoon, I also had the opportunity to speak to him and another neighborhood boy, who was also there for soul winning. They both received salvation that day. Two weeks later, he and another girl, who got saved a while back, plus an older lady, were baptized after the Sunday morning service. It is a blessing to see him becoming faithful to church and soul winning, even though he just recently became a Christian. Please pray for his spiritual growth. Also, please pray for the other neighborhood boy who got saved. He has not been coming to church lately.
