Thank you! Since our last letter announcing how God has clearly and marvelously shown us His will by directing us to Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church in Martinsburg, West Virginia, as assistant pastor serving these great people and Pastor Corey Bane, your responses have greatly encouraged us. Your love for us over these years has been overwhelming in so many ways.
On June 21, our shipping container was loaded at the house in the UK, and two days later, we boarded the plane for our return to the U.S. All the mandatory COVID tests required came back negative, and God blessed with safe travels to Washington D.C., where the church van picked us up and drove us to Martinsburg. We were able to go straight to our new home that night, where a church table and air mattresses waited for us.
Our belongings arrived safe and sound, after some delays and charges from customs for an inspection, on August 17. These past two months have found us doing some traveling, visiting family and friends, before getting settled here in West Virginia. God has continued to provide, and we are very grateful for His loving grace that has helped us every step of the way.
Skelmersdale Baptist Church is doing so well! The pulpit committee is working through candidates, so please pray for wisdom and direction. The church has remodeled some additional areas since we left and, since the lockdowns have eased, restarted Sunday school and soul winning. The precious people at SBC have stepped up and are taking great steps of faith! They have grown in the Lord, and I thank God for showing His grace is sufficient.
My family and I are adjusting well. We have been reminded about the many differences between the UK and the U.S. culturally while reacclimating to the States. Holly and I officially started our positions here at Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church on August 1. The boys started school at the Christian school here on August 23. God is so good!
As you finish reading this final prayer letter, we’d like to thank you for your faithful prayers and giving over the many years. It’s amazing how God has used you to reach people across this nation, across the UK, and across the world with the Gospel through the ministry God gave to us. We love you and are very grateful for the co-labourers God gave us. Our hearts and prayers are that God’s grace would move forward your families and ministries mightily as your reach people with the Gospel. Thank you for investing in us and the work of the Lord.
May God richly bless you all, and may His richest grace be upon each of you.
Following Christ,
Justin, Holly, David, Jonathan, Nathan, and Samuel Williams
