Still Sowing
In this day of compromise and confusion, you can count on the fact that there are still those of us taking our old King James Bibles and telling the lost of a Saviour Who loves them and is willing to accept them, if only they would be willing to accept Him. I personally do not know why so many are waiting, but they better get on the ball before He passes them by—time’s a wasting! We will keep on sowing, because that’s what the Master has commanded us to do. Thanks again for all the prayer and financial help as we do!
Results Coming In
We are now at 134 people who have bowed their heads this year professing their faith in Christ! I have set this goal, hoping for 200 salvation decisions by the end of this year. Well, I’m happy to report that we are well on our way to reaching it, by the grace of God! But can I also say that it’s not enough to reach a goal but to surpass it. Amen?!
Sowing for Christmas
A few years ago, I thought about giving the Lord Jesus a Christmas birthday present. I’m wondering if anyone else does this? Hmm. Through the year, I set personal and spiritual goals, and by the end of the year, I want to lay them at the feet of our Lord, wish Him a Happy Birthday, and let Him know that I love Him and am thankful for Him. This year someone gave me a load of John and Romans, which are a nice, readable print. Every week I deliver 50 of these to our neighborhoods, and by the time we get to Christmas, we will have distributed thousands of them. I guarantee someone is going to read them. Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday, Dear Lord! No greater gift than the gift of a soul!
Two Have Flown
Daniel and Joshua arrived safely in Chicago and are attending Hyles-Anderson College. All of you who have your children leaving home and moving on with the next stage of their lives know what we are going through. It is hard, but it is also exciting to realize our kids are walking down the same hallways that Mary Beth and I did nearly 30 years ago. It’s a joy to know that we are still after souls and changed lives after all these years. Very soon, it will be 25 years since we joined FBMI in 1993, yet we still possess the same soul- winning fervor that was there when we began. Now it’s time to pass it on to the next generation and keep living it and passing it. Thanks for helping us to make it possible. May God give you a wonderful fall season!
Yours for souls,
The Solt Family
