This month we begin our 20th year as missionaries to Asia. When I surrendered as a 52-year-old widower to go to the Philippines, I had no idea of all that God would allow me to do. With His help, we have won tens of thousands of souls to Christ, trained hundreds of national pastors and Bible college students, and helped to establish scores of churches throughout Asia. At least every month, I hear from someone whose life we have impacted. This month I received the following message (here is another church that will be started):
We are continuing to promote and develop Teaching All Nations materials for college students preparing for ministry. Here is a group from Cambodia who will very soon have completed the entire curriculum.
Orphans are being educated in Burma because of the support received through A.W.B.M.
A small group of believers on the island of Mindoro in the Philippines now have a place to meet because of the sacrificial giving of many.
Please pray for us as we travel to Missions Conferences and have opportunities to raise money for the many pastors and ministries in Asia in need of help. Please pray that God will provide $5,000 for airfare for our family trip back to the Philippines in this coming year. There is so much more to do to reach the billions of the Asian population who have not yet heard of Christ. Let’s continue to partner together to make a difference in the coming days.
