“A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.” (Proverbs 18:24)
Please continue to pray for Kimberly as she recovers from a severe foot infection that kept her hospitalized during the first half of December. The wounds from the debriding are almost healed and progressing well. Our concern is whether or not she will regain the full use and flexibility of her foot. Please pray for complete healing and recovery so she can return to her normal activities.
Last week I was able to go soul winning with one of the faithful young men of our church, John Khent Anasario. I was able to lead a father to Christ during that time. John Khent was leading his third person, Maika, to Christ that morning when my daughter Elisabeth called me from college on Messenger. I chatted with her for a few minutes as John was finishing leading the teenage girl Maika to Christ. When he was finished, I introduced Maika to Elisabeth via my phone. Elisabeth spoke to her in Visayan and encouraged her to attend church the next day, promising she would be calling her dad to see if she was in church. 😊 Maika was in church the next morning. I messaged Liz to let her know Maika was there. Then I called Elisabeth during the baptism time so she could see Maika get baptized via Messenger. Maika was so happy to have a newfound friend in Christ but also a friend who would encourage her to do right from halfway around the world!
