We are writing this month’s prayer letter with great joy and thankfulness, as He has decided to use us for His glory in a mighty way and He allowed us to work with you in the harvest. The harvest truly is great, and He is blessing the laborers with souls saved and lives blessed and changed through His mighty power. It is exciting to be actively involved and seeing the difference He makes in our lives and those around us.
It is so awesome to see someone pass from death to life through the Gospel message. When someone truly receives Christ as Saviour, nothing can change that decision. Just last week as I was talking to a mother and her daughter about Christ, their neighbor walked up and tried to disrupt the conversation when she realized what we were doing in her neighborhood. She said she had been a Jehovah’s Witness for over 40 years. As I continued to share Christ, Pastor Medina, my soul-winning partner that day, ran interference by showing the Jehovah’s Witness that her beliefs didn’t line up with the Word of God. When we walked off a few minutes later to knock more doors, the Jehovah’s Witness was talking to Lorena and Andrea. As I looked over my shoulder, I knew that there was nothing she could say or do to change the decision the family had made that day. The gift of eternal life is just that—eternal.
Susie and I are very aware that your prayers make a difference in our lives and ministry. We always ask for your prayers concerning our health and safety. Please continue. We are so humbled, as we hear that some of you actually pray for us every single day. We are so blessed. We are praying about a new church plant. Pray for this decision to be Spirit-led. If a piece of land is donated, we will be building a permanent structure like we did in Taco Pozo. The vision God gave us is being fulfilled, as we are starting new churches and they are being pastored by nationals. Did I say this was exciting work!?
In Christ,
Simeon and Susie Hudson
