We are sending our September prayer letter early because of an emergency situation concerning my dad. We are so thankful that we can count on your prayers. This is a time when we are asking for extra prayer. On the 19th, we received a call from our daughter; she told us my dad had been admitted to the hospital because he was spitting up blood. He is 84 and living in an assisted- living home. He has Stage 4 cancer of the bones, lungs and liver. He has been given two weeks to two months to live. Only our Father knows.
We arrived in the States on the 25th. We will return to Argentina on the 3rd of October. Our plan is to spend much time with him and all of our parents. They are also in their 80s. Please pray that my dad will not suffer much. Hospice has been called in, so we know his last days are upon us, more than likely. My dad is saved, and we know our Father uses situations like this for His glory. Please pray that He will use this to draw many to the Saviour!
So far this month, we have seen 7 receive the Saviour while in the streets soul winning. We stood praying as 3 accepted Christ and 1 received assurance, and we gave out 12 Bibles. Many have made decisions after the preaching. The church we are helping in La Cocha just gave a great report, and the church in San Jose has new members.
Pray for our health and safety. Most of all, pray that we will always follow His will no matter what is in our path.
In Christ,
Simeon and Susie Hudson
