Greetings from the bottom of the world . . . well, almost the bottom anyway. We are thankful that we can count on your prayers, even if we are 6,000 miles away.
My favorite salvation story this month was Jose. Four of us were painting at the church to celebrate the church’s 22nd anniversary, and it was hot. Jose rode by on his bicycle selling ice cream, and I bought some for the four of us. I asked him if he went to church. He replied that he didn’t attend church but his mom did. He also said that some Mormons had been at his house the other day talking to his mom. Jose thought he could get to Heaven by his good works, but he agreed to see what the Bible had to say. After seeing what God’s Word said, he gladly bowed his head and received eternal life. It’s amazing how our Lord always gives us opportunities to bring glory to His name if we just see all conversations as just that—opportunities.
Please pray for our health and safety as we plan on traveling to the States next week for a month-long visit.
In Christ,
Simeon and Susie Hudson
