Thank you, dear friends, for your prayers. We are doing well, just waiting for my family to travel to the States on vacation; they have been under a lot of stress. There are long lines to buy food and a lack of items to buy, so if you do not find what you need, you have wasted two to four hours under the sun for nothing. There is insecurity every time we go out. My family will be going on July 21 and coming back on September 22. They already have their tickets. My daughter Martha is going to buy my ticket this week. If I travel, I will be leaving on August 18 and coming back the same day as my family. The airlines are not taking bolivars (the monetary unit for Venezuela), only U.S. dollars; that is why my daughter has to buy the tickets.
Our church is doing well. We are going to have our missions conference on May 10. We are going to be supporting 4 new missionaries; we will have a total of 15 missionaries. We will also be raising their support, even though our rent went up over 100%! Praise the Lord! Pray that we will have a great attendance for the Mother-Daughter Banquet. We are also going to have an evangelistic rally in Las Neridas. Please pray that everything goes well.
Our soul winning is getting better. We are in three different areas at the same time, and the results are great. More people are getting involved in soul winning; we also go soul winning on Thursdays and Fridays. Please pray that I can get my car fixed. My car has been broken for two weeks. It is a great source to bring people to church. A bad PCV valve did some damage to the engine, and parts are hard to find. I’m the only one in the church with a car. I have to pick up missionaries at the bus station in Caracas and bring them to Guatire every week during the month of May. Please pray.
The church has seen 685 souls saved and 10 follow the Lord in baptism during the last three months!
Prayer Requests
• For health and safety
• For the Lord to supply the monthly support that we need
• For the salvation of the people of Venezuela
• For land on which to build the church
Sincerely,
