Thank you, dear friends, for your prayers. We are doing well. We hope you had a nice Christmas and a happy New Year. At the last minute, we desired to spend Christmas and New Year’s Eve in Kansas this year. We bought our plane tickets on the 21st, and on the 22nd, we were in Kansas. Praise the Lord! We’d had 13 long years without a white Christmas. We also had the opportunity to spend Christmas with our family. Temis is a Christmas boy, and the last time we were together for his birthday was 13 years ago. The last time we spent Christmas together with Martha was 6 years ago. Andrea had the opportunity to play in the snow; she was 3 years old when we went to the field. We had a great time. We ate too much of everything, and we gained a few pounds. Praise the Lord! We were planning to return on the 12th, but there were no direct flights to Venezuela until the 24th. Please pray that that we have a safe return.
Our church is doing well. We are finally finished with the construction of the church. We found enough cement and hired additional help to finish the job. We were able to finish the first week of December. Praise the Lord!
Please pray for the situation in Venezuela. The insecurity, the lack of food, and the prices of every kind of item are growing more and more; and the people are despairing.
The church saw 1,242 souls saved and 9 baptized during 2016. Amen!
