A “DOUBLE BLESSING”—A CAR AND A CONVERT
THANKS TO SPECIAL CHRISTMAS GIFTS from Lewis Avenue Baptist Church in Temperance, Michigan and the ladies’ Central America WMS of Valley Baptist Church in Mesa, Arizona, and the continued support of Grand View Baptist Church in Beavercreek, Oregon, we were able to lease a safe car for our TAN travels this year. A “double blessing” came when the Toyota salesman received Christ as his Saviour. What a DOUBLE blessing!
REPORT FROM THE MISSION FIELD
Missionary Charlie Vest is now teaching the TAN lessons to a NEW group of FIVE pastors in General Santos City, Philippines. This is a most inspiring picture of five men of God, working in the Word of God. All of us need to pray for this great work that the Lord has led Bro. Vest to do for Him.
The Vest family is training, facilitating, and supporting national pastors throughout Asia, including the Philippines, Burma, and Laos.
A TRIP TO TANZANIA COMING SOON
Adam Ogle, the TAN Program Director, and Jason Royalty, a staff member at South Haven Baptist Church in Springfield, Tennessee, are leaving to travel to Morogora, Tanzania, on Wednesday, February 17, to establish a Bible college for Missionary Jerry Wyatt III. Please pray for this wonderful opportunity that God has given TAN. Pray for these two men that the Lord would give them safety and great success in beginning this Bible college.
PRAYER REQUESTS
• Pray for a total of $5,000 needed for a proposed trip to start a Bible college in Liberia, Africa, later this year. Students are waiting on TAN now.
• Pray for the safety of Adam Ogle as he travels abroad and starts Bible institutes and for us as we travel throughout America to churches, raising support for TAN.
