Greetings to you all! The writing of this newsletter finds us in Wisconsin, where we have spent a few days with our daughter and her husband in the birth of our grandson! Broen Wade Hunter was born to Savannah and Aidan on March 6, 2024! We praise the Lord for a safe delivery and for the good health of both Savannah and Broen! We will spend a couple more days here helping them in the transition of their firstborn and then be back up in Canada by the end of the week!
The months of January and February were productive and blessed months, even though we were still recovering from the lingering effects of the sickness I dealt with back in December. Souls have been saved, and we baptized a young man the last Sunday of January who had gotten saved the day before. We have been blessed to have several families start attending church in the last couple of months that we are working with and following up on!
During January and February, we were able to restart our Friday evening TEENS ALIVE youth outreach ministry. God has used this to open up doors in ministering to several families! One Thursday evening while out visiting for Teens Alive, I met a family with three teens! The next week, I was able to go back and follow up on this family, and I was able to lead the dad to Christ. As I finished sharing the Gospel with him and he prayed to receive Jesus as his Saviour, he asked me, “Pastor, can you come back on Saturday afternoon and share this with the rest of my family?” I did go back on that Saturday, and Ricky had his family all waiting for me to come. We sat in the living room of their apartment together, and Ricky’s wife and three teenagers all listened intently to the Gospel and interactively read the Scriptures. Praise the Lord, all four of them sweetly trusted Christ together as a family!
During February, we also conducted our annual Valentine Banquet for the married couples of our church. We put a lot of effort into this annual event to make it a sweet and helpful time for the marriages of our church. Our theme this year was “Sweet ‘n’Spicy.” It was a night of enjoyable fellowship and an enriching teaching time together for our couples.
With the warmer weather of springtime coming soon, we are looking forward to further endeavours of reaching out in our soul- winning and canvassing efforts in sharing the Gospel to the city and region that God has called us to here in London, Ontario, Canada! Thank you for continuing to co-labour together with us for the cause of Christ, the winning of the lost, and the teaching and edification of the saints! By God’s grace, may we all do “So Much the More in 2024”!
