Lawrence Williams Prayer Letter: Bearing Fruit in MabaanGreetings from Ghana:

“But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.” (Ephesians 2:13) My family and I want to thank all of you for your faithful prayers and financial support. Many who were “far off” have come to Christ because of your faithfulness.

Results in Mabaan
Ezekiel is a man I led to Christ about two years ago in the village of Mabaan, which is about twenty minutes from our church. Ezekiel comes faithfully to soul winning, and he and Bro. Carter have been going to Mabaan each Saturday. Last Sunday there were 14 people in church from the village of Mabaan. Praise the Lord!

Personal Soul Winning
Recently I was unloading some groceries from my vehicle when a Ghanaian man walked up, greeted me, picked up a box of frozen chicken, and followed me into my house. He brought the chicken into the kitchen and set it on the counter. It just so happened that this man, named Jeffrey, was a student at Grace Bible College. Jeffrey was a member of the Assembly of God Church and led one of their choirs. I set an appointment to meet him the next day for lunch and had the privilege of leading him to Christ in my office. Last week I was in Ampabame soul winning with my partner Victor. We met 3 young men in their twenties named Kwabena, Atta, and Moses. All 3 of these bowed their heads and put their faith in Christ alone for salvation. Kuffour is a thirteen-year-old boy I met recently as I was at the chicken and rice stand buying food. I quickly gave him a tract and invited him to church. He came to church last Sunday, walked the aisle to receive Christ, and was baptized.

Preaching the Gospel
This month the Lord allowed me to have the privilege of preaching in three schools and two villages to a total of 706 people. Many folks prayed to receive Christ as Saviour.

Once again, thank you all for your prayers and financial support that make all our work possible.

Sincerely,

Lawrence Williams
