God has encouraged us greatly these last two months in giving much fruit for the labor that has been done here in El Salvador.
In June, we celebrated Father’s Day in our church. In the past we have never exceeded 23 fathers in attendance on this special day. This year the Lord blessed with 34 fathers present in church. Two of the men who came for the first time that day have continued attending faithfully since then. Praise the Lord!
In August, we were able to, once again, go into the public schools with Evangelist Darrell Ratcliff and preach the Gospel to thousands of students and educators. Every year that he has come, God has blessed with many souls saved. This year was no exception. We had 2,750 hear a clear presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and 1,845 of those professed to have made a decision for Christ.
We continue forward with plans to start a Christian school in the ministry here in Santa Ana. Please pray that the process we have to go through with the government here will go smoothly and that we will be able to commence classes soon.
On a personal note, our daughter Brenda will be leaving in three weeks to attend Hyles-Anderson College, along with her brother Tommy. She is excited about serving God with her life, and we are thankful for her life, her testimony, and her love for God. Please pray for both Tommy and Brenda as they take these steps forward in preparation to serve the Lord.

¡Que bueno ha sido Dios con nosotros en estos últimos meses aquí en El Salvador! Nos ha dado mucho fruto, lo cual es muy alentador.
En junio se celebró el Día del Padre. En años anteriores nunca habíamos tenido más de 23 padres en asistencia este día. Este año asistieron 34 padres de familia a la iglesia. Fue de mucha bendición. Dos de estos padres, quienes vinieron por primera vez ese domingo, han seguido asistiendo fielmente. Gracias a Dios.
En julio se llevaron a cabo la evangelización en las escuelas públicas con el Evangelista Darrel Ratclif. Tiene cuatro años de estar viniendo y cada año es de mucha bendición ver cientos o miles de almas salvas para la Gloria de Dios. Este año se les predicó el evangelio a 2,750 estudiantes y docentes y 1,845 profesaron hacer una decisión de salvación en Cristo.
Continuamos con los planes de comenzar una escuela cristiana en nuestra iglesia y pedimos de sus oraciones mientras tramitamos los permisos necesarios para iniciar clases lo más pronto posible.
Como nota personal, este mes nos despedimos de nuestra hija, Brenda, quien se unirá con su hermano, Tommy, en la universidad de Hyles-Anderson College. Ella está muy emocionada por esta nueva etapa y nosotros le agradecemos a
Dios por su testimonio, su vida y su deseo de servirle a Él. La vamos a extrañar muchísimo. Por favor ore por ella y por Tommy en estos años de preparación.
