The God Who does the impossible has given us a humanly impossible task!
“(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.)”
II Corinthians 10:4
On July 20 & 21, Temple Baptist Church in Cajuru, São Paulo, will be celebrating their 40th Anniversary of proclaiming the wonderful grace of Jesus. We have prepared a first-class, full-color, front-and-back invitation that will be placed inside the GANHAR Ministry John and Romans. Our goal is to take one to every home in our city and the neighboring city of Cássia dos Coqueiros before the conference.
Noé Rivera, a 2023 missions major graduate from Hyles-Anderson College, our alma mater, is finishing his master’s degree in pastoral theology and will be helping us for three weeks. Seven Baptist churches from other cities within an hour’s drive of Cajuru are preparing to help one time over three Saturdays.
These two cities, with a combined population of 30,000, are heavily influenced by many false religions where “. . . the god of this world hath blinded” their minds and caused them to reject “the light of the glorious gospel of Christ.” (II Corinthians 4:4)
The humanly impossible task is not letting the people know about the conference but that “the Spirit of truth” will have liberty to work through the soul winners and the Gospel presentation inside the John and Romans to show them that as sinners, they are on their way to an eternal Hell unless they accept the finished work of our Saviour as their only hope for Heaven.
Earnestly PRAY that the Holy Spirit will prepare the hearts of those who need to be saved to listen when they receive the invitation or after reading the Biblical plan of salvation and visit the church during the conference or in the very near future. Also PRAY earnestly that those who have been saved since the start of the church but are out of the will of God will return to their Heavenly Father and to the church. “Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men . . . .” (II Corinthians 5:11)
Thank you for continuing to give so that we can continue serving our Saviour as your ambassadors to the PEOPLE of Brazil.
