  • Daniel and Mary-Ann Williams Prayer Letter: Winning Family to ChristWe greatly appreciate your faithfulness in praying for us. Our Father has kept us safe during this time, and we have much to report. Please see our FBMI webpage for many additional pictures and information.

January started off with one of Mary-Ann’s brothers coming to visit us. We all traveled together with him to visit family in both Masbate Province and Caloocan, a suburb of Manila. Mary-Ann’s birthplace in Masbate is very rural, and we were able to meet with many of her extended family members. While there, we were able to lead six of them to saving faith in Jesus Christ! Please pray for the area of B. Titong, where Mary-Ann’s family lives, as the nearest Gospel-preaching church to them that I can find is over one hour away. This means that many of Mary-Ann and our children’s blood relatives have not yet heard a clear presentation of the Gospel and may never be able to unless someone goes to their area. We have been praying about this and asking God to send laborers into His harvest there in B. Titong, Masbate Island. We also visited others of Mary-Ann’s family in the Manila area. I was able to witness to a group of her family there, and seven souls trusted Christ for salvation! During these travels, the Lord also enabled me to share the Gospel with a taxi driver and with a seatmate on a flight, and both of them chose to put their faith in Christ!

Hyles-Anderson College of the Philippines has been back in session, so I have been teaching New Testament Survey to the freshmen. It is such a blessing to be allowed to influence the next generation for Christ! Luke and Titus are finishing up their senior year and are looking forward to attending Hyles-Anderson College in Indiana this coming fall. Our entire family will be returning with them for the months of July and August so as to help them with the transition. With our time being limited, we will only be spending a couple of weeks in California, a couple of weeks in Texas, and the rest in Indiana. If anyone would like for us to come to give a personal update, we will be happy to try to fit it in the schedule if possible. If anyone would like to give towards Luke and Titus’ college fund to help them get started, it would be greatly appreciated!

More recently, one of the families we have been working with has been growing in the Lord, but the father, Glenn Pilapil, was involved in a motorcycle accident. His head was injured, and he required brain surgery. We were able to help them with transportation and with some of their needs. Glenn is now out of the hospital, but his road to recovery will be long. Please pray for the family to trust God and that He will provide for their needs, as Glenn is currently unable to work during his lengthy recovery process.

We have been having some local teens come over to our place to play basketball, and we have been able to see many of them trust Christ for salvation. Two of them have visited church, and one was baptized. Please pray that more of them will visit church and begin growing in the Lord. Please pray for International Baptist Church of Dumaguete’s upcoming Youth Rally this May; pray that the Lord will work in the attendees’ lives and call more to His service.

Thank you again for all of your faithful prayers and support!

    Sincerely,

    R. Daniel Williams
    All for Christ!
