Daniel and Mary-Ann Williams Prayer Letter: God Is Using Our Family!Greetings from the hot and humid city of Dumaguete here in the Philippines! While temperatures here have remained high, so have the blessings of the Lord! After having been here for seven months, I am pleased to report the following for the months of April through June, which the Lord enabled our family to be directly responsible for:

• Forty-four souls trusted Christ as Saviour, with many more Gospel presentations!
• Three complete families visited church, with several members making multiple visits!
• We made many discipleship visits with growing believers!
• Six souls followed the Lord in believer’s baptism!
• I taught classes in the Bible college here, with two students graduating in June!
• Our family was able to participate in Vacation Bible School, being a part of many children hearing the Gospel!

Titus and I returned from the States near the beginning of April, after having visited with my family and four of our supporting churches. The months of April and May were EXTREMELY hot here, with many people here in the Philippines suffering. We have had to go through several power blackouts as well, which is never welcome; but God is good, and the blackouts have never been longer than 14 hours. The rainy season has begun, so we get to see cloudy days regularly. Praise the Lord that the rain has not hindered our soul-winning times much!

A Couple of Great Reports Out of Many

First, Luke was out one Saturday afternoon at “Cheese Stick Country,” an area near the beach with many small street restaurants. He approached two college-aged young men, Jaleel and Steve, offered them a Gospel tract, and invited them to visit church. They both engaged with him with interest, so he began sharing the plan of salvation with them. They responded well, and both chose to trust Christ as their Saviour! Second, while Mary-Ann and I were at the hospital visiting a family we had been inviting to church for a couple of months, we met another family who was there with their 16-year-old son James; he was in critical condition due to a motorcycle accident. We kept in contact with them, praying over James and helping out with some of their needs. Due to their seeing Christ’s love and hearing the Gospel through us, several of them trusted Christ as their Saviour, chose to follow Him in believer’s baptism, and have been attending church! We are so happy that God put us in that place at that time to meet them! Please pray for James’ continued healing and that we will have wisdom to help where we can.

One Final Blessing

At the end of June, our family was able to travel to Cebu and meet with Marvin and Ireen Tan, our Christian friends, whom we were able to disciple in China 14 years ago! It was so good for both of our families to spend a little time together! Please pray for Marvin, as he is on dialysis, which is affecting his health. Thank you so much for your prayers and faithful support! We could not be the light for Christ that we are without you! May Christ richly bless you all!

Sincerely,

R. Daniel Williams and Family to the Philippines
All for Christ!
