Fisa Mihy-Mihyndu Prayer Letter: Fruit That Remains

Thank you very much for your faithful prayers and support!

It is written, “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” (John 15:16) God kept us very busy during the past few months.

SOUL WINNING

It is written, “Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.” (Romans 10:1) The following is what God did; please join us in prayer for these new converts:

• 138 souls saved in the city of Ntoum
• 167 souls saved in Libreville
• 10 souls saved at the Teen Rally
• Papa Jean Marie, a 114-year-old man, saved in his house
• A church member’s mom and her aunt saved at their home
• Papa Boussougou, a church member’s uncle, saved at his home
• Parfait, saved and baptized in June, now an active soul winner
• 316 souls saved altogether lately

BAPTISM

It is written, “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.” (Acts 2:41) Nine born-again believers decided to follow the Lord Jesus Christ through believer’s baptism.

DISCIPLESHIP

It is written, “And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.” (Acts 9:19) For our discipleship program . . .

• About 25 people faithfully attend the Bible institute.
• About 51 people faithfully attend Sunday school.
• 31 people go soul winning weekly.
• 51 people actively share their faith weekly.
• 12 new soul winners have been added.
• About 25 people attend prayer nights.
• Parfait, saved and baptized in June, is now faithfully serving the Lord.

Please pray for those with Charismatic backgrounds to learn sound Bible doctrine.

MINISTRY

It is written: “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.” (I Corinthians 12:7) By the grace of God, we had the following blessings:
• We’ve had about 80 visitors.
• Some dear friends, a missions team led by Bro. Allen Johnson, visited us in June.
• We had about 150 people at the Teen Rally, with 4 salvations. Bro. Johnson preached a great salvation message.
• 60,800 John and Romans were distributed.
• 60,800 Gospel tracts were distributed.
• 30,000 flyers were distributed.
• 40 New Testaments were given out.
• School supplies were provided to some of our needy, faithful church kids.
• 2 Muslims heard the Gospel message.
• Missionary evangelist, Bro. James Belisle, visited us in September.
• A container full of Scriptures was delivered. THANK YOU!
• US$28,000 was pledged for the land. We have already spent US$39,600 in rent from 2021 to 2024. We spend US$1,100 each month for rent.
• US$9,000 was raised for the soul-winning bus. We are thanking God for Catheys Valley Baptist Church of Catheys Valley, California, donating US$8,000 towards the purchase of the bus!
