We are keenly aware of how vital it is that you pray for us. Please pray for safety as we travel, for our health, and that God will continue to use us in His service.
As you can see by the enclosed picture page, the last few months have been very busy. We thank God for the privilege of ministering in all of these places. God has been so good in giving us strength to maintain such a busy schedule. Please pray that He will continue to do so. We were with several churches in Colorado in July and had such wonderful hosts at each one. July is definitely the right time to be in Colorado instead of Mexico! We also enjoyed some “tourist time,” as you will see in the pictures as well.
It is a blessing to see so many of our graduates in the conferences at which I am privileged to speak. They are literally all over the world. Our supporters have had a part in training them.
So far this year, we have been able to lead 42 people to Christ and give out over 2,000 Gospel tracts. When we are at home, we go soul winning with our church group. When we travel, we participate in the soul-winning programs of our host churches. Last week in El Salvador, my son-in-law Henry and I went soul winning together. I was able to lead 1, and Henry saw 2 people trust Christ as their Saviour.
Also in El Salvador, 51 pastors and missionaries, including 3 of our graduates, attended the conference, and 26 people surrendered to full-time service! We are so pleased to say that our granddaughter Grace (15) was among these! Earlier in September during Mount Hebron’s Missions Conference, our grandson Tommy II (12) made this same decision! Also during September, our 2 youngest grandchildren—Lucas (9) and Megan (7)—were baptized. We praise the Lord for His continued working through future generations.
Another important area of our ministry is publications. There is a scarcity of doctrinally sound IBF material in Spanish. We are working towards making all of our material available on Amazon. Several of these books can now be accessed by searching author: “Ashcraft.” I take these books with me when I speak in these conferences.
Again, we ask that you continue to pray for us:
• Emily has had some trouble with her blood-sugar levels and overall health.
• Pray for our travels, as noted in our itinerary.
• Also, please continue to pray for our property situation. We believe we are moving in the right direction, but the process is slow at times.
Yours for souls,
Bro. Tommy and Emily Ashcraft
