Church Growth
We are still very excited that we continue to watch our fellowship grow. New people are coming to services nearly every week. We have had 58 first-time visitors since the beginning of the year, with 42 salvation decisions. We also look forward to baptising 4 souls this Sunday. King’s Kids Club has restarted, and the children are busy learning Scriptures! They are so pleased to come with their red shirts and Bibles in hand. It is a challenge, but we must invest in the future generations of Christians. We are truly thankful for your prayers and for your faithful monetary support, which has remained strong over the summer months. Please pray for strength and wisdom as we push to do more for Christ!
Trip to India
The interesting thing about being in England is the fact that we are a multicultural society. This means that we have many different groups of people from around the world living here. Through that, I was able to travel to Southeast India for 12 days. While there, we celebrated the one-year birthday of the son of one of our families. We traveled through Delhi to Agra and saw the Taj Mahal. We then journeyed to a “small” city of 5 million people known as Vishakhapatnam, which is located in Andhra Pradesh. From there, we drove 7 hours to Ramachandrapuram, and I preached in 5 churches and spoke in 2 Pastors’ Conferences. It was brutally hot, but it was well worth it. I asked the pastors to let me know how many came to them professing their faith in Christ. The first church had over 1,000 people gathered for an evangelistic meeting, and 67 came to the pastor professing their faith in Christ. On Sunday, I preached in a church of over 300, and 30 trusted Christ. Later, I was able to lead 3 more people to the Lord. All told, 100 souls professed their faith in Christ. India is an amazing place. Since Britain is the leader of the Commonwealth, we have a supreme opportunity to reach many souls around the world! Amen!
Dan’s Family Is Coming!
Dan, Rachel, and Ruby will soon be here in England for two weeks this July. We are going to be so happy to see them! It will be a chance to share more of our life here with Rachel and, of course, to invest time in some serious grandparenting! The church will be blessed by their help during our VBS, which runs from July 26-30. Your prayers for their safe journey and a successful time helping the ministry here are much appreciated. May we be faithful to our calling, and may God be glorified.
Yours for souls,
The Solt Family
