Thank you for your faithfulness. It is your prayers that sustain us! We are physically, spiritually, and emotionally tired, yet the Lord gives us strength. “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Philippians 4:13) When we are weak, then He is strong.
My brother Andy died in January, my dad in April, my mom in May; and now in June, Beulaha, an orphan we took under our wing, has died. Our work permits have been turned in, but we have not received an answer, so we could not travel for my family’s funerals. Before the permits expired, I went home in November to help care for my dad for one month, for which I am so thankful. Beulaha’s funeral was done from our house, as there are no funeral homes here; the customs are different here in Namibia. Our hearts are heavy, as we miss our loved ones, but our God gives us comfort. We have confidence in His Word that we will see them again. Heaven is a little sweeter.
The church is growing, having new visitors regularly. More young men are coming to soul winning, and some are able to lead the Bible study when needed. We have started a church choir again; the children’s choir and the teens sang recently in the church service. The church voted to start Phase 3 of the building, but we do not have quite as much money as the contractor has requested. Please help us in this area if you can.
