Henry and Tammie Gonzalez Prayer Letter: Wonderful and Fruitful 2024Greetings from El Salvador, where we are currently enjoying perfect weather—cooler breezes, cooler-than-normal nights, and temperatures that make it feel like spring. There is a lot going on around us as we look forward to a victorious and fruitful 2025. Before giving you a projection of things to come in the work here in Santa Ana, allow me to share the wonderful End-of-Year Report for 2024. Thanks to your prayers and the support God has provided through His faithful servants, our team was allowed to finish the year in ministries with great results.

Each week, our church holds 3 different Bible Clubs in 3 different neighborhoods (and our bus routes). The average total attendance to these 3 Bible clubs is 120. During the month of December, we announced that the last Saturday of the year, we would be celebrating Christmas with them. They needed to attend faithfully and bring visitors. On that last Saturday, December 28, we gave pizza, Cokes, and a gift to 170 children. The boys received a ball, and the girls received a mini-purse.

In addition to the activity in their respective communities, we also bring an average of 55 of these children to Sunday school each Sunday. Our Junior Church program also saw an increase during the month of December, which has carried over into January. One hundred boys and girls in church were given a McDonald’s Happy Meal, and one of our church families generously donated a small gift for each week that the children attended during the month of December. Most of the children took home four gifts in their gift bags. Parents were very grateful. Many of these children would not have received any other gifts for Christmas. Each week, we see at least 15 saved in our neighborhood Bible Clubs, and 2 were recently baptized from one of the Bible Clubs.

This year, our theme is “Renacer,” which means “Reborn. We are hitting a reset button, so to speak, as a church. The first three months will be focused on the Word of God in our personal lives and in the ministries. Each quarter, we will focus on a different area of growth in addition to the previous ones. The other areas are personal and world evangelism, living a separated life, and consecration to Christ.

Statistics Report for 2024:

  • 1,197 souls saved
  • 332 visitors attended our church services
  • 3 baptisms
  • 150 Sunday morning attendance
  • 60 midweek attendance

Our Goals for 2025:

  • 100 souls saved each month
  • 1 baptism each week
  • 30 visitors each month
  • 25 soul winners each week

We have a packed calendar of planned events for the year, which include evangelizing in public schools; starting new Bible Clubs and bus routes; holding a Missions Conference, a Revival Conference, a Couples’ Retreat, a Youth Camp, and other special days; and starting a new church. Please help us by praying that God will be glorified in all that is done. Pray that He will lead us and that we will see many souls come to Him.

Joyfully in His service,

Henry & Tammie Gonzalez
