To say that December was both exciting and exhausting would be a major understatement. Our family was excited to be back in our home area of Michigan to see family and our supporting churches. But we were also exhausted by the time we got back to our plane to head back to Kenya, for we had traveled to Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin! We were so encouraged by each and every one of our supporting church families. It truly was a sweet time of fellowship with everyone!
While back in the States on our short furlough, we had two missionary friends filling in for our church in Acacia. We thank the Lord that we had great reports week after week on what God was doing through the services! We want to say thank you to both Bro. Ole Kunnerup and Bro. Peter Morris (plus Kalvin, his driver/guitarist) for keeping things going while we were away.
It was a blessing to stay with and spend much time with my nana (grandma) while being back in our home area. The kiddos made many great memories that I know we will cherish for years and years to come! We just cannot say thank you enough to family, friends, and all of our supporting churches that loved on our family while we were back in the States! God has blessed us with very supportive family and friends. Asante Sana (“Thank you very much”)!
We hope that you all had a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. We are thankful for all that God has used us to do over this past year and are looking forward to what the next year holds. May you have a blessed 2025, and may we see God continue to work in the lives of others.
