Thank you so much for all of your love, prayers, and support that are helping us to reach precious souls with the Gospel.
We finished up an evangelistic campaign in southeastern Mexico, with a great harvest of souls saved, and drove across the southern border of Mexico into the country of Belize. This was our first time in Belize, where the official language is English. (Many of the people speak several different languages – English, Spanish, Creole, Mayan, etc.) Most of my preaching was in English, which was a little different for me, because I usually preach in Spanish. Pastor Israel Alvarez, a veteran missionary who has a great work, was a huge blessing and help in preparing the campaign in his city and also with several other pastors in different towns in Belize. We worked with some great missionaries during the evangelistic campaign – Pastor Israel Alvarez in Orange Walk, Pastor John Harris in Dangriga, Pastor Omar Enriquez in Santa Elena, and Pastor Oscar Pedroza in Corozal. The pastors did a great job with the preliminary work of arranging meetings, recommending lodging and food, etc.; and they were also a tremendous blessing and help once we arrived in their areas to share the glorious Gospel of Christ.
The Lord blessed, allowing us to preach in public and private schools in several different places in Belize. We were also able to speak and encourage various local churches to continue and expand their efforts to take the Gospel to their “Jerusalem,” to all over Belize and Central America, and to the whole world. We shared with them about our website, PredicaACristo.com, which has free videos, audios, and books about salvation, personal and mass evangelism, leadership, discipleship, prayer, youth, encouragement, family, missions, preaching, the power of the Holy Spirit, and much more to reach precious souls for the Lord.
Praise the Lord! We were able to preach the Gospel to around 6,709 people during our evangelistic campaign in Belize, and the majority of them indicated that they were trusting in Christ as their Saviour. To God be all the glory! There is a great evangelistic opportunity, because Central America, South America, and other parts of the world seem open, for the most part, for someone to help the students in public schools with values, drug issues, etc. and, most importantly, to allow the sharing of the Gospel. The Lord Jesus said, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few.” We just need to pray that God would raise up more evangelists and also pastors and laborers to do the work of an evangelist to reach these precious souls for Christ!
Please pray fervently for our upcoming evangelistic campaigns in the following months. For instance, this summer we will be taking groups of young people to do evangelistic outreaches in Puebla, Irapuato, and Guadalajara. So, we need your prayers in regards to the preparation of all of the details, the provision for the many needs, and, most importantly, the power of God so we can reach a great harvest of souls for the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank you so much again for all your love, prayers, and support. You are helping us to reach precious men, women, boys, and girls with the glorious Gospel of Christ.
Yours for souls,
Darrell Ratcliff
