We are grateful to be able to serve God in these ever-changing times! Throughout history, times have changed, but many things remain constant. God is good, people are inherently sinful, God wants sinners to be saved, and He has commissioned sinners, whom He has redeemed, to preach the Gospel! We should not let all the distractions of this world deter us from fulfilling our mission!
We are enjoying our time in the States! So far, we’ve visited 20 churches, both supporting and new, to update them about what God is doing in Nigeria. We’ve greatly enjoyed being with family and showing the kids some of the fun things we love to do during the fall!
While getting gas in Wisconsin, Deondre approached me and asked for some help. We were able to help feed him physically and present the Gospel to him. On a few different occasions, I’ve had the opportunity to preach and encourage young people in Junior Churches, in youth groups, and at youth activities. I always try to remind them that God is good and that He has a plan for their lives.
In October, Truth Baptist Church, back in Nigeria, hosted an “Academy Sunday,” where the students of the academy were encouraged to invite their families to our church. There were 468 people in attendance, with many visitors hearing the Gospel for the first time!
In our last letter, I mentioned that we are raising $25,000 to help three of our Bible college graduates build church buildings for their churches. Thank you for those who have prayed about this need! So far, we’ve had a little over $10,000 promised toward this project!
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. We know that it takes folks like you to send folks like us!
In His service,
Daniel, Erin, Ezekiel, and Gianna Lang
