Praise the Lord for His continued blessings. We thank Him for the privilege of seeing 664 precious souls profess faith in Christ through the personal soul winning of our people.
Ester, Micah, her dog Daisy, and I moved to the Philippines 20 years ago this past July 11. The time has gone by so fast! Both Ester and I have lived in the city of Dasmariñas longer than we have lived any other place in our lives.
While we are in the States, we are thankful that our work in the Philippines continues. It’s always so good to get great updates of our work while we are away. We have two faithful men and two ladies on staff and several faithful lay-workers who work hard in the ministry. We have faithful soul winners, and our church continues to see souls saved, converts baptized, and the many facets of the ministry continue to function and bear fruit.
I continue to preach our morning services by live streaming, our two staff men alternate preaching in our evening services, and our laymen have been teaching Bible lessons in our Wednesday evening services.
We have had several new folks and families come to our church, and we are looking forward to meeting them when we return to the Philippines.
Our church was blessed to have Missionary Tychicus Mabanglo, who is going to India, and we are looking forward to supporting him and his ministry. I’m so excited about the potential the Philippines has for reaching the world for Christ, especially Southeast Asia and the 10-40 Window.
Ester and I have had a wonderful time in the States, spending time with our children and their families and visiting our supporting churches. We have been overwhelmed by the love and kindness that God has shown us through His pastors and churches. What a joy Heaven will be when we see our Lord and have timeless fellowship with the friends we’ve made throughout the years. One of the wonderful things about being a Christian is the immediate connection you make with other Christians and the lifetime friendships you establish through just a short time of knowing each other.
Thank you all for praying and sacrificing for all these years for the joy of representing our Saviour and his people in this white harvest field.
Yours for souls,
Courtney & Ester Godsoe
