To our beloved brethren in the faith—that the grace of our great God abound in each one of you is my great desire. The first months of this year have passed very fast; this is due to the intense work that the work of God requires. Apart from all the responsibilities in our church, I have been ministering the Word in several churches in the southern part of the island and also here in Santo Domingo. I rejoice how the churches responded to the preaching of the Word of God.
Several people who have been saved this year have encouraged us with their testimonies. Ruben is one of the new converts we have recently won. For many years, he attended a Pentecostal church, but he was not saved yet. When we won him for Christ, he was very disturbed and nervous because the pastor of the Pentecostal church said that God had told him we were going to have a tsunami in the Dominican Republic and the sea would flood us. By his genuine conversion now, he has a great peace and is regularly attending our church. It was not difficult for him to understand what I taught him about God’s control of the sea and that God does not speak in this way in this day and age. Now he laughs at what filled him with fear, and he enjoys seeing the beauty of the Caribbean Sea.
Another great blessing was the baptism we had in February. Some of the ones who were baptized were born in the church, and the other one was a baby when her mother came to our church. The brethren have enjoyed watching these teens being baptized. In our church there is a generation of youth and adolescents whose parents were saved years ago, and they were born and raised under the ministry of our congregation. For that reason, our youth group is a source of inspiration. During the months of January and February, 102 people got saved. Praise the Lord!
This year we have a great goal in our ministry; that goal is to buy the property we rent for the church. In December of this year, the lease expires. We are currently paying US$700.00 per month for rent. That is a lot of money for our
church because it’s not helping us to invest more in missions and to establish other churches. We are praying for US$148,000.00 to buy that property. We are asking you to please help us pray. At the same time, we would like to ask each of the churches that support us to help with a Building Fund offering to achieve this goal. Your prayers and generous help will help us to do so. Thank you with all my heart to all those who have already contributed for this great cause. Personally, I am doing all the necessary sacrifice to have our own building; God is witness of that. My great desire is to take the US$700.00 that we pay in rent and invest it in missions. With our great God’s help, we will achieve this task—that is my faith!
It is a great joy for me to write to you. Your prayers and your faithful financial support have been instruments the Lord has used so that many have known the Gospel of salvation here in the Dominican Republic.

A todos los Hermanos en la común fe. Que la gracia de nuestro gran Dios, abunde en cada uno de ustedes es mi gran deseo. Los primeros meses de este año han transcurrido muy rápido, esto es debido al trabajo intenso que la obra de Dios requiere, aparte de todas las responsabilidades en nuestra iglesia he estado ministrando la palabra en la parte sur de la Isla, y también aquí en Santo Domingo, en varias iglesias. Yo me he gozado viendo decenas de creyentes respondiendo durante la invitación a la predicación de la palabra. A Dios sea la Gloria!
Varias personas que hemos ganado para el Señor este año nos han animado con su testimonio. Rubén es uno de los nuevos creyentes que hemos ganado recientemente. Por años Rubén había asistido a una iglesia Pentecostal, no obstante no era salvo, cuando lo ganamos para Cristo, estaba perturbado y muy nervioso porque la Pastora de la iglesia le había dicho que Dios le dijo, que en la Republica Dominicana, íbamos a tener un tsunami, y que el mar nos inundaría. Por su conversión genuina ahora tiene una gran paz, y está asistiendo regularmente a la iglesia, no fue difícil que el comprendiera lo que le enseñe del control que Dios tiene del mar, y que Dios no habla en este tiempo de esa manera. Ahora se ríe de eso que le llenaba de temor, y se goza viendo y disfrutando la belleza del mar caribe.
Otra gran bendición fue el bautismo que tuvimos en Febrero, algunos de los se bautizaron nacieron en la iglesia, y otra de las jovencitas llego a la iglesia de meses, los hermanos disfrutaron viendo a esas adolescentes bautizarse, ya en nuestra iglesia hay una generación de jóvenes y adolescentes cuyos padres fueron alcanzados con el evangelio y han nacido y crecido bajo el ministerio de nuestra congregación, nuestro grupo de jóvenes es causa de inspiración por esa razón. En los meses de Enero y Febrero, 102 personas fueron salvos, Gloria al Señor!
Este año tenemos una gran meta en nuestro ministerio, esta meta es comprar la propiedad que rentamos para la iglesia, en diciembre de este año caduca el contrato de alquiler, en la actualidad estamos pagando US $700.00 de
renta. Eso es mucho dinero para nuestra iglesia pues impide que podamos invertir más en misiones y el establecimiento de otras iglesias. Estamos orando por US $148.000.00 para comprar esa propiedad, por lo cual estamos pidiendo que por favor nos ayuden a orar, y a la vez solicitamos a cada una de las iglesias que nos sostienen una ofrenda Pro-templo para lograr esta meta. Sus oraciones y su generosa ayuda nos ayudaran a lograrlo. Gracias de todo corazón a todos aquellos que ya han aportado para esta gran causa, personalmente estoy haciendo todo el sacrificio necesario para tener nuestro propio edificio, Dios es testigo de eso, mi gran deseo es invertir esos US $700.00 que pagamos de alquiler en misiones con la ayuda de nuestro gran Dios lo lograremos, esa es mi fe.
Para mí es un gran gozo escribirles, sus oraciones y su fiel ayuda financiera han sido instrumentos que el Señor ha usado para que muchos hayan conocido el evangelio de salvación, aquí en La Republica Dominicana.
