Dear Fellow Servants,
“. . . Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 1:7)
Summer this year has been rather unusual; we have experienced record temperatures. Although the Caribbean is always extremely hot, it feels like every year is hotter than the year before.
Despite the heat, we continued to do the work of God and not be affected by these factors. The Lord gave us a good time at Vacation Bible School and Youth Conference; we had several saved and baptized, especially children and adolescents. This year these two activities were a little different. We concentrated our efforts on consolidating the youth group and children of our church to grow in faith. For us, it was a great joy to work again teaching the Word of God for so many consecutive days.
For those who are always praying for my wife’s health, on September 2, doctors had to perform an emergency surgery to extract her gallbladder. The pain was very strong, and she could not sleep or eat any kind of food. Thankfully, the surgery was successful, and she is recovering satisfactorily. Please continue praying for her and our finances. At this present time, we are looking for good health insurance.
