God continues working in Dumaguete! I am happy to report that the International Baptist Church in Dumaguete continues to reach souls, week after week, with the Gospel. Our number of soul winners keeps increasing, and more and more are being saved. We are thrilled to have fruit from our soul winning; souls are being baptized and growing as new believers. Thank you for your help in our being here to lead this faithful church to be obedient to the Great Commission.

In September, our church held its annual Missions Conference with six missionary families. It was a wonderful time as we were stirred and then committed to an even greater amount of Faith Promise missions giving for the next year. Our theme this year for missions is “Open, Break, Use.” Our daughter Brittany helped with the song for the conference, which our college chorale sang and we recorded. We also developed a game by the same name, which we played on the Saturday evening. The board games were given out to most of our families to have at home. We are close to releasing an online version of the game. Stay tuned for more details.

Before our conference, my wife and I were privileged to join a group of missionaries in Thailand for a Missions Mastermind. It was refreshing, as we were able to catch up with friends who serve around the world whom we love and admire. We were also happy to spend some time with some of the FBMI staff, Bro. and Mrs. Bosje, Joseph Palmer, and then Pastor and Mrs. Wilkerson. We are grateful for those whom we serve with in this generation.

In the past few days, we were happy to host Pastor Gordon Alley, along with his wife Rachel, their son Noland, and Rachel’s uncle Greg. Noland is considering the mission field, and we pray his time here helped in his future endeavors. Our church was blessed by their visit.

Our graduate, Nelson Duran, has secured a location for the church plant in Dauin, just south of Dumaguete. We are excited about how God has already given him much fruit through his soul winning, Bible studies, and training of soul winners. We hope to see them holding services by the end of this year.

We’ve started December by taking our college singers and some of our orchestra members, along with many soul winners, to our city’s beautiful boulevard for caroling and soul winning. As I write this, we’ve had 3 nights of this with a combined total of over 125 saved, and we have plans for 4 more evenings on the boulevard this coming week.

Please pray for our church’s 15-year anniversary this January. We plan to have 2 big days, January 18 & 25. We will have guests with us from the U.S. for both Sundays. We are glad that they will get to partake in this special occasion. We are praying for many visitors those days who will believe and follow in baptism. Please pray with us.

My family will be making a short furlough to the U.S. mid-February through April of 2026, and we are hoping to present our work to many more churches that would like to partner with us in doing “more of the same” in the Philippines.
