Thank you, dear friends, for your prayers. We are doing well. Please pray for my wife and my daughter Andrea; they both have high cholesterol. They have being getting headaches and articulation pain because they have not found medication to lower their cholesterol, so they are trying the natural way. They are blending two whole mandarins, including the seeds and the peel, with a little water and drinking it. They are going to be doing it for a week. I finally fixed the tires of my car the old way; now we drive around, but not too far.
Our church is doing well. We celebrated our 11th anniversary. We had a good attendance. We celebrated with a church-made soup; everybody brought something that was enough to feed 70 people. We had a great time—good testimonies, tears, and joy. The Lord is good!
Please pray for our missions conference that is going to be held in May. We are supporting 17 missionaries now. We would like to support 3 more this year and raise the support of all our missionaries! Praise the Lord!
We moved to our new building at the beginning of April. It was not ready to move in yet, but the deadline to move out was. As of today, we do not have air conditioning, but we have two bathrooms ready to go. The good thing about having our own place is that we do not have to pay rent anymore. The money we used to pay in rent is going to go into missions. I called a pastor who used to be in building construction for 30 years and had him look at our building. He found many problems with it. We used the wrong welding and structure material, so he is going to help us fix all we did wrong and help us finish the job. I got concerned about the cost of the job, about finishing the job, but even more so, about finding the material to finish the job. We need at least 100 bags of cement and a few more structural materials. Please pray that we can finish it all by the middle of May, because the rainy season is about to arrive.
Please pray for the situation in Venezuela, which I believe you already know about. We do not do lines to buy food anymore. Here in Guatire, a woman killed two people and stabbed others because they did not allow her to get in from of them in line. Two other ladies delivered their babies while they were in line to buy food, and one of the babies died. We also have problems with the water twice a week and sometimes for hours.
The church saw 430 souls saved and 2 baptized during the last three months. Amen!
