I pray that you all had a wonderful holiday season, that Christ was exalted, and that you were able to enjoy time with your loved ones. For several families in our church, their holiday get-togethers revolve around church because the majority of their families are still lost. As believers, they do not want to participate in the same frivolities as were customary before their conversion.
Please allow me to catch everyone up to speed on our church property; it is simply amazing how the Lord has been working. The property owner was very firm on his asking price of US$375,000. Our plan was to raise half of that for a down payment and then make monthly payments for the remaining balance at 1% interest per month. To our utter amazement, within 30 days of making the need public, we had enough money committed to cover the ENTIRE cost of the property. Only God could do such a thing!
We are now in the process of getting all of the documentation, bureaucracy, and licenses sorted out to begin constructing a large auditorium. I will admit, I am very concerned about what it is going to cost us to fully finish the necessary construction, but when worry starts to grow, I remind myself how God has blessed us so abundantly already throughout this process of growth and expansion. He has taken care of everything so far; we believe He will continue to supply for each need as it comes up. Please keep the construction as a matter of prayer. Those who would like more details about the need, feel free to reach out to me.
While 2025 was certainly a great year in our ministry, we believe that 2026 has even greater potential. On top of the major construction phase we find ourselves in, we will also begin our second semester of Bible institute in February, we will take two more missions trips to other parts of the northeast of Brazil, and we have added two more conferences to our annual church calendar (Family and Youth). Our desire is to see more souls saved, more churches planted, more laborers trained to serve in the Lord’s harvest, and our church able to move into our permanent property before year’s end. For all of this, we covet your prayers.
Thank you for holding the rope. Thank you for your sacrificial giving. It is our privilege to be your representatives in saturating the northeast of Brazil with the Gospel.
Declaring His glory,
Wesley Palla
