Greetings and Happy New Year everyone! The year 2025 is now behind us, and we are facing the year 2026. Things that happened in the past year are already memories, but souls saved are all current and eternal. Everything in God’s eyes is present. He and the whole of Heaven are still rejoicing over the souls saved last year only by His grace and mercy.
During these last two months, weather again was the common hindrance in our soul winning and other church activities. Heavy rain and street flooding occurred unexpectedly, stranding vehicles on the road and minimizing people’s movements in our city. However, by God’s grace, we were able to go out soul winning, go on home visitations, and give out Gospel tracts on days having good weather. Just like on November 1, people flocked to the local memorial parks and public cemeteries to visit the graves of their loved ones in commemoration of All Saints Day. This is an occasion similar to Memorial Day, which is celebrated in the U.S. on the last Monday of May. We also visited a relative’s grave, not just to pay our respects but also to use this opportunity to give out tracts and share the Gospel. By God’s grace, we were able to lead 12 people to the Lord Jesus. I believe that people from our local church were able to distribute thousands of Gospel tracts in various cemeteries and memorial parks around the city.
Some other church ministries we are involved with are the Jail Ministry, the Police Force Ministry, and area Bible studies. We visit some jail facilities and police precincts and conduct weekly activities for each ministry. Church members in an assigned area are also visited weekly to hold Bible devotion and
fellowship, encouraging them to participate in some other church ministries. The results are amazing. A person deprived of liberty or PDL (a term used instead of prisoner), upon release from jail, started attending our church. As a result, other family members were reached through him. Some police officers also started attending the church and are encouraging other fellow police officers to attend group Bible studies. Some backslidden church members, reached through home visitations and Bible studies, were
revived and started attending church again.
In this year 2026, as we are waiting for guidance from the Holy Spirit, we are looking forward to being involved in CBBC’s vision of opening more outreaches in different towns and cities in nearby provinces.
Again, we saw how God’s hands moved during this past 2 months. Despite the challenging circumstances and weather conditions, He still led us to 60 souls who professed their faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. To God be the glory!
Please pray with us for:
• God’s mercy and grace to grant us good health.
• The power of the Holy Spirit as we seek another church to help.
• Many more souls to be saved.
• Open doors in public offices and schools for Bible studies.
• Spiritual growth among the new converts.
• God’s wisdom and guidance in every decision concerning the ministry.
Thank you for your prayers and faithful partnership.
For His glory,
Rey and Tess Garcia
