Keith and Theresa Baker Prayer Letter: Moving to BelizeOur Trip to Belize

Upon advisement of our Field Service Coordinator, Jim Belisle, in October, Theresa and I traveled to Orange Walk, Belize, to survey the ministry of veteran missionary, Pastor Israel Alvarez. I had the privilege of speaking in 3 services and to be involved in the soul-winning program at Amazing Grace Baptist Church. I believe 12 people responded to receive Christ as Saviour as invitations were given. Among those saved were 15-year-old Cecelia and her mother.

Our journey was also profitable in another way. We believe the Lord is paving the way for us to return and come alongside Bro. Alvarez, his wife Tonya, and their five children to minister in Belize. We have reservations to leave on December 10, so we are taking inventory, praying, and packing.

Medical Challenges

Recently, we received okay reports from the cardiologist and our primary care physician. Being in our “senior years,’’ we know we will face concerns but feel, by God’s grace, that we are up to the task before us. We do appreciate your prayers.

Education

In November, we met with Directors Greg (father) and Adam (son) Ogle of Teaching All Nations in order to tap into their curriculum and other helps for consideration of starting a Bible college in Orange Walk. Greg and Adam plan to meet with Bro. Alvarez and me in early 2026 in Belize. Theresa has also been working on several aids to augment the education of the youth in Junior Church and midweek meetings.

Thanksgiving

During this Thanksgiving season, we especially want to pause and count our many blessings. Thank you for blessing us with your faithful prayers and financial support.

Christmas

We look forward to December 25 very much. Holiday memories flood our minds, recalling bygone Christmas seasons when we were children and also when our kids were still in the home. Our prayer and desire is to help several someones on the mission field to experience the joy of knowing the Saviour of the world. Merry Christmas from our home to yours!

Respectfully,

Keith & Theresa Baker
