Tommy and Emily Ashcraft Prayer LetterTommy and Emily Ashcraft Prayer LetterWe are grateful for your prayer and financial support. God has been so good to us in the ministry to which He has led us.

From El Salvador to the Philippines, to just down the street, from small house churches, to large crowds, God has blessed our efforts in spreading the Gospel.

God gave us a remarkable time in the Philippines. This was Emily’s first time to be in Asia. Over 1,600 delegates attended. There were 452 churches represented, with 293 pastors and missionaries, plus 128 pastors’ wives; and 75 people surrendered to full-time service. I taught and preached 6 times, and Emily taught the ladies 4 times. Pastor Jose Conui, his wife, and his people of Christ Baptist Church in Muntinlupa City did a tremendous job hosting the meeting.

We had a wonderful time in Chihuahua, Mexico, with Bro. Dan Peyton. He and his wife Edith attended our language school over 30 years ago. Bro. Dan’s son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Blanca, took us to dinner one evening. I gave a tract to the waiter, Modesto. He said he was saved. We invited him to church, and he attended on Sunday evening and was very interested in becoming part of the church. During Saturday morning soul winning, I witnessed to Ivan, and he trusted Christ. Bro. Dan spent some time with him concerning his church attendance. Please pray for both of these men as the church works with them in their walk with the Lord.

Prayer Requests

• Our health—Emily’s diabetes and my sciatica pain
• Ministry-property recovery
• Safety in our travels

We spent most of the month of November at home. We plan to spend Christmas with Emily’s family in North Carolina. We pray that you have a wonderful time as we think of the true meaning of the Christmas season: Jesus coming in the form of a servant to seek and to save that which was lost.

Yours for souls,

Bro. Tommy and Emily Ashcraft
