Arturo and Ismerai Garza Prayer Letter: God's Work Is Wonderful!Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. We want to share a little about what happened in March and April. In March, we held our annual Ladies’ Conference at our church, with the theme: Sabias de Corazon (“Wise at Heart”). I want to give special recognition to my wife and the sisters of our church for their incredible work in planning and organizing the conference. They practically did all of the work! God used them, and the conference was a great blessing. Two sisters from the United States, both pastors’ wives, came to teach, and God used them to speak to the hearts of each lady present.

We had an average attendance of 80, between adult and young ladies, and a good group of pastors’ wives who traveled from nearby areas, bringing ladies from their congregations as well. Each group had their own special sessions—there were classes for single ladies, widows, married ladies, and wives of pastors and missionaries. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and solid Biblical teaching. Several newly converted ladies attended this conference for the first time, and they left encouraged to continue growing in their faith. This is such a great blessing and the very reason we organize these events, so that God can work in the lives and hearts of His people. We rejoice in being able to organize this conference, as it is currently the only Ladies’ Conference held in our state. Many sisters have testified that it has been very helpful to them, especially because of the topics aimed specifically for ladies. Please help us pray that we can continue planning this conference year after year and that God would continue working in the lives of His daughters.

After a busy month serving in God’s work, my wife and I traveled to the United States in April to attend scheduled meetings to present in some churches in Texas. The Lord guided us and allowed us to share about the ministry, preach, teach, and serve in various areas. Our good God kept us safe at every moment and in every place and provided for all of our needs during the trip through churches, families, friends, and fellow believers in Christ. During those days, we had the opportunity to go out and evangelize with the churches we visited, joining them in their outreach programs and serving in various areas as needed. We were also blessed to share our testimony multiple times. So far, two more churches have decided to support us as missionaries—glory to God!

We also took the opportunity to attend my younger brothers’ graduations from Bible college. They were blessed to study at a Bible college in Elgin, Illinois; and, by God’s grace, they were able to graduate. It was a blessing to be with them during this special occasion and spend time together. The rest of our family also attended, and we enjoyed a sweet time together for a week. It was a refreshing time for all of us.

We thank God for allowing us to serve in His work, and we also thank Him for each of you who continually intercede for us in prayer. Thank you for partnering with us in the Lord’s work. May God bless you.

His servants,

Arturo & Ismerai Garza
