We pray you all are well and enjoying a beautiful fall. The Lord really shows off His detailed mind during this season for sure. We are grateful for the cooler weather all the fun fall brings. Esther and Benjamin started school—Esther 9th grade and Benjamin in K5; we thank God for Christian education. Thank you to all who prayed for my trip back. I was gone for seven weeks. I returned back September 17. It was a wonderful trip, but I am thankful that I can be back with my family.
Ministry
After our 10th Anniversary, we have seen a continuous growth. We know that everyone who comes will not stay, but we are so thankful that some do. It is exciting to see people not only get saved but also grow in the Lord. Isiah, one of our staff men, has been working with a young man named David. David was saved out of the Anglican church, and Isiah has been encouraging him to stay and grow in the Lord the right way. David is also interested in media, which is also the area that Isiah serves in, so they have been helping each other in this area as well. I am thankful that David chose to stay, but I am also grateful for Isiah taking of his time to mentor David.
Christian—we call him Chris—graduated from our Bible institute. He is a builder by trade but has been working in our ministry for a while. We had a need for someone to fill in for our marriage class, and he was able to fill in. It is good to see the Lord growing young men who are willing to be used.
We have also seen many folks follow the Lord in believer’s baptism and join the church. Praise God that He keeps adding to His church.
Martha’s Health
Thank you to all who continue to think of Martha and pray for her. The latest CT scan shows that the cancer still continues to grow in her liver, but it has not spread, so we do praise God for that. On November 12, she has a consultation with the doctor about radiation. If we could ask that you still keep praying for that, as we will get more information about how to remove this cancer permanently.
Thank you all for your faithfulness to the ministry in Tanzania and our family. We are forever grateful that you all would partner with us. Please know how much we love you guys.
