Our Leadership Conference in July was a great blessing, with over 100 people in attendance. Many are excited and already talking about our next one in 2025.
The second semester of our Bible institute started in August. I teach on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
Keith Putnam, a fellow missionary from the nearby town of Pinda, is in the States on furlough. Pastor Jonata, a graduate of our institute, is doing a great job taking over in his absence, and several families of our church take turns going and helping in the services. We go once a month for Gerri to play the piano.
We just finished the 9th Anniversary Conference of our church this last weekend, which was a great blessing. We are already looking forward to our 10th Anniversary Conference next year. Our son Allen, with Wings Bearing Precious Seed, will be bringing a group to help distribute John and Roman booklets and invitations to the conference. Our daughter Debbie is planning to come also. So, hopefully, the entire Johnson clan will be here! It will be a special family time, as we also will celebrate my 80th birthday.
In November, we will be preaching in a conference in Mexico, along with our son Allen. Pray with us for traveling safety and for the Lord to work in hearts.
