Luis and Carolina Martinez Prayer Letter: Blessings of the YearIsaiah 9:6 says, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” I pray you are doing well when you receive this prayer letter. My family and I are doing well, and we greatly appreciate your prayers and faithful support throughout the years. I would like to start out by wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2026. This year, we are praying and working towards finishing this year strong. Our goal is to invite many to our Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve services and present them with a clear presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We thank God for all of the souls who have been saved and baptized throughout this year. Recently during our Thanksgiving service, we had a man by the name of Roberto put his trust in Jesus Christ. One of our church ladies fell and was taken to the hospital. When I went to the hospital, I was able to speak to David, who was sharing the same room, about his salvation, and he put his trust in Jesus Christ.

During the month of November, we honored our veterans. We were thrilled and blessed to have all branches of our military represented in our church. It was also a blessing to have Pastor Josue Delgado from San Antonio, Texas, with us during one of our church services.

It has officially been announced that Roosevelt Roads Naval Station, which is right across the highway behind our church, will remain open for at least three more years. We have been praying for the opportunity to reach the military. Several weeks ago, a man by the name of Torrence entered our parking lot looking for a church. When I asked him about his salvation, he told me his salvation testimony and who his pastor was. It so happens that his pastor, Valentin Alvarez, and I attended Hyles-Anderson College together, and he was the man who encouraged me to date Carolina, who is now my wife. Torrence is here on active duty and attending our church faithfully.

PRAYER REQUESTS

• Please pray for the church in Humacao.

May God continue to bless you as you serve Him faithfully. Thank you so very much for your love, prayers, and faithful support. WE ARE BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE. We believe the Lord has so many great things for us in 2026. God bless you.

In Christ,

Luis M. Martinez
