We are overjoyed that we are now building the studio for the radio station in Burundi. Christian Radio International (CRI) gave us what we needed to build the studio. They also gave us the equipment we used in Rwanda, which we will be putting to use again in Burundi. I want to encourage all churches to support that ministry. They have been building radio stations all over the world for many, many years. Please help them to do even more!
In October, I was back home in Uganda and spent the time working on vehicles, planning the design of the studio, and preparing to go back to Burundi. In November, I spent three weeks in Burundi working on the studio building. Actually, I was watching and organizing while others had the fun of digging in the mud to lay the foundation. The studio is now half-built, and the cement was poured for the second floor. Kenneth and I also finished the tower.
Let me also take time to give some updates on our children. Caleb and Hannah are both seniors at Hyles-Anderson College and doing well. Back in September, Timothy also started there as a freshman. He actually made the plane trip back to the States by himself; and Grandpa, Bro. Warren Storm, helped him for a week to get settled in college.
Angela is still teaching Virginia, Micah, and Zachery at home; but because there was a problem getting curriculum for Virginia, she got a bit behind while the others kept working. The result is that the last three children are all in the 11th grade together!
Finally, we just purchased plane tickets to take a furlough next year. Please contact us if you would like us to visit your church. We are available from May to September 2024. Thank you so much for your prayers and support.
In His service,
Gregg, Angela, Caleb, Hannah, Timothy, Virginia, Micah, and Zachery Schoof
