Spotlight on Team Ghana’s Church Plants – May 2014
This month’s spotlight is on Brother George Menyon, pastor of Grandview Baptist Church in Monrovia, Liberia. Brother Menyon and his family were refugees in Ghana during which time they trained and served with us in Kumasi. Then in 2011 God called the Menyon family and four other families to serve Him in Liberia.
Successful Conference: “In March we had a successful conference with the attendance of 300 people, including pastors and church workers. The theme of the conference was ‘Go Ye Therefore.’ All of our invited pastors except for one came with delegates from their churches.
“The topics taught on in our afternoon services were Time Management, Faith Promise, and the Prison Ministry. My wife taught the ladies on the theme ‘The Role of the Woman in Christian Homes.’ In our evening services, we preached on Disciple Making, Church Planting, and Evangelism. Some of the ladies at the church prepared food for the delegates who attended. I was excited about everything that went on in the conference.

Land for Church Purchased: “Recently Fundamental Baptist Church International of Kumasi, Ghana, raised money to help our church purchase a plot of land on which to start our own building. Also, I am now working on having Fundamental Baptist Missions International registered in Liberia in order to facilitate the work there. Praise God for everything!”
Thank you for your prayers and support for Team Ghana and for our church-planting efforts!
