Spotlight on Team Ghana’s Church Plants
Yaw Kwarteng Is a Blessing to the Ministry: “I met Amankwaah six weeks ago. I witnessed to him, and he accepted Christ as his personal Saviour. He visited my church the following Sunday. The exciting news is that Amankwaah has not missed any of our services since. Praise the Lord! Yaw Kwarteng is one of our church’s first members. He is always the first person to get to church to get everything ready for the church service. He goes out soul winning with me each week. Yaw has recently made a special decision to serve God full-time. I thank the Lord for giving our church faithful men like Amankwaah and Yaw Kwarteng.”
Chris Got Saved at a Football Game: “One afternoon I went to watch a football match at a friend’s house. A young man named Chris had also come to watch the football match. After the game I was able to talk to Chris about salvation, and Chris made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ. He visited me at my Bible study, and he is now a faithful member. Also, Johnson Gafatsi, a young man I won to Christ not long ago, is very zealous about God’s work. He comes to every service and to Bible study each week. Johnson never gets tired of winning souls. He is a great soul winner. He is always asking me questions, wanting to know more about God. Praise the Lord!”
Honored to Be a Pastor: “God has been so good to me and my ministry. On the first day of service, there were 23 people in attendance, several of whom accepted Christ as their personal Saviour that morning. Our church is now averaging 35 in attendance. I have also started a new Bible study on Fridays. I go soul winning and visiting during the week and try to get more people to join the church. My plan is to be able to reach the whole Kunsu area for Christ and to start new Bible studies in the villages nearby. I am very honored that God has given me the privilege to pastor Jesus Only Baptist Church at Kunsu.”
Paul Is an Effective Soul Winner: “Paul Koomson is one of the people who joined the church on the day we started. He has become very faithful to all our services. He is very passionate about God’s work. Because of his passion, I gave him a Sunday school class to teach, and now Paul has been teaching for three years. He is also an effective soul winner. This past month he brought 3 Muslims to church and won them to Christ. Praise God for Paul! My wife and I went for a visitation at Aboabo to witness to one Muslim girl. Thank God for this Muslim girl who accepted Christ as her personal Saviour.”
