You and your church have a part in the work God is doing through our church plants. Here are testimonies from four of the men with whom we are privileged to partner. Please pray for them and their ministries.
Pastor Collins Agyei
“Nana Nkwanta Bis II is a chief who lives at Adwafo, but he is wanting to do the work of God. He is studying his Bible, and he has started being trained in soul winning. My son, Agyei Blessing, loves to work for God. He enjoys soul winning and inviting youth to our church. The COVID-19 situation has given me the opportunity to have Bible studies with our people in their homes; I have been teaching them about the love of God.” Fundamental Baptist Church, Adwafo, Ashanti Region, Ghana [Pastor Agyei graduated from our Bible college in September 2010.]
Pastor Gyasi Boateng
“Before the COVID-19 restrictions were put in place, many churches in Ghana, including ours, met in school rooms rented from the government or from a private school. We were renting a room from a Methodist school. However, months ago the government stated that schools should not rent out their facilities to churches. So for a while, I was meeting with small groups in different members’ houses. But last week, one of my church members, Mrs. Arhinfue, told the bishop of the Methodist church that he should let us start having church services in the school classroom again. Mrs. Arhinfue is related to the bishop, so he allowed us to return to our classroom; we thank God for this. We also thank God that the bishop is not allowing the noisy charismatic churches return to the classrooms they were renting.” Fundamental Baptist Church, Asawase, Kumasi, Ghana [Pastor Boateng graduated from our Bible college in January 2011.]
Pastor Christian Gafatsi
“I encountered Vincent Foli on the grounds of a government school as we were both passing by. I approached him and proclaimed unto him the good news about Jesus. He thought he would go to Heaven because he believed in Christ and was a church goer. I showed him from the Bible how that salvation is not of works, and he decided to trust Christ alone for his salvation. My wife and I followed up on him for about three weeks, after which point he started coming to and joined our church. He loves our church. Kpedator Isaac is a young boy who is growing in the Lord and the work of the ministry. He involves himself in soul winning, discipleship lessons, and packing the chairs after church.” Heaven’s Praise Baptist Church, Bediako, Tema, Ghana [Pastor Gafatsi graduated from our Bible college in January 2011.]
Pastor Abraham Subui
“Mr. Kyeremeh (on right in picture) came to church with his family one Sunday morning and testified that he had heard my preaching on one of the information centers in Donkro Nkwanta. He said the message touched his heart, and they had come to put their faith in Jesus. I preached the Gospel to them; he trusted Christ and was baptized. Since then, he has been faithful to church and all the church activities.” Salvation Baptist Church, Donkro Nkwanta, Bono East Region, Ghana [Pastor Subui received his bachelor’s degree from our Bible college in February 2020.]
