We had a special Easter service, where we invited folks to visit our church to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. We were surprised, as the attendance overflowed to 302! We could not seat this many people in our tabernacle, so I asked some of the men in our church to hold separate services to accommodate so many people. We had our main service where I preached, another service for adults and teenagers where one of our men preached, and a children’s service where one of our teenagers preached. It was exciting to see the men I am training prepared and ready to be used of God at a moment’s notice. Many visitors were saved as a result of our efforts, and our church was greatly encouraged. Please pray that the new converts will grow and mature to become faithful, productive servants of God.
Also in the month of April, I was invited to preach in a soul-winning conference in Argentina. It looks like God is opening more doors for me to preach around South America in different churches and conferences. This conference was attended by churches from Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, Peru, and the United States. We had a training time to teach the people how to win souls, and then afterwards we took them out soul winning to show them how it was done. By the end of the week, several people had been saved out in the streets, and some of the people who attended the conference had won their first soul to Christ!
Sunday morning after I preached my last message, I was rushed to another part of Argentina, which was a six-hour drive, to preach in Pastor Larry Owens’ church in Tucuman, Argentina, for his night service. God blessed, and several people made decisions for God during the invitation. Afterwards I got back on a bus and traveled back home, which took about 21 hours and included a flight from Santa Cruz to La Paz.
Please pray for our safety as we continue to travel and serve the Lord here in South America.
