“I will bless the LORD at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” (Psalm 34:1)
I want to thank the Lord for being with me in my recent surgery. I had some complications, and the expected four-day stay turned into an eleven-day stay. The Lord’s presence was ever near. He cared for us in many ways: people to watch Jamie, taxi money for Margo to come see me, a church family to give her a ride back home at night to provide safety, and a national pastor to come pray with me and give me a ride home when I was discharged from the hospital. The Lord also provided for the cost of the surgery and hospitalization through your giving and two of our former members who have gone back to Angola. This is all because of your prayers and care for us. Thank you. We serve a great God Who hears our prayers!
We are thankful for the souls saved since the last letter. Sixteen received Christ as Saviour in soul winning, Children’s Bible Time, and church.
We had a Church Retreat March 20-21. We prayed for the nation of Namibia as we brought in a new president, and we prayed for the church. I taught on “Praising the Lord.” On Good Friday we had a service and then went out soul winning and inviting others for Easter Sunday. God gave fruit, and we had 5 visitors and 1 saved in the Easter service.
