I am reminded of the words to a song as I think of these past moths of October, November, and December:
As I look back on this road I’ve traveled,
I see so many times He carried me through.
If there’s one thing that I’ve learned in my life,
My Redeemer is faithful and true.
My Redeemer is faithful and true.
Everything He has said He will do,
And every morning His mercies are new.
My Redeemer is faithful and true.
The Lord has literally carried us through these months of sickness with Hepatitis A. First I had it. Then Margo and Jamie got it. Then it put me back in the hospital for ten days as it infected my gallbladder. The Lord was our strength and help. It was a blessing to see how God worked.
I spent all day at the clinic. Then I was at the casualty, and then at midnight I was admitted to the hospital. A neighbor came and got Jamie for us early in the evening. One of the local pastors came and transported my wife home at 1 a.m. God is so good to provide safety for my family.
Sosbbater, one of the men in the church, preached in my absence. It was a blessing to see him grow in this way. Some other members led the singing, and it was a time for the church to grow. There were 15 souls led to Christ. God is good!
We watched as the Lord met our needs for strength, for grace to bare the pain, for our finances, and for encouragement from unexpected phone calls and letters just at the right time, letting us know they were praying for us. We would cherish your continued prayers for our health. I have to see a surgeon in January.
We wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Healthy and Happy New Year!
In partnership for Christ,
Tom& Margo Dinius
